Build one household tax-year action plan.

Bring cash resilience, adjusted net income, pension allowances and ISA usage into one set of checks before 5 April. Individual and household modes keep each person’s tax position separate.

What it connects

  • Essential spending and accessible cash
  • Expected adjusted net income
  • Pension input and modelled headroom
  • ISA allowances used and remaining

What to have ready

  • Current-year income estimates
  • Employer and personal pension input
  • Cash reserved for emergencies
  • ISA contributions made this tax year

What it does not decide

It does not calculate a complete tax return, confirm eligibility, value defined-benefit pension input or recommend a contribution. Uncertain figures should be verified before acting.

How the result works

Priorities come from the gaps in your own inputs.

The planner checks whether accessible cash covers the spending period entered, whether either person may cross an adjusted-net-income threshold, whether the pension figures require a fuller allowance calculation and how much ISA allowance remains. It then orders the checks rather than presenting a generic checklist.

Rules and allowances can change. The current version concerns 2026/27 and uses simplified scenarios. Review the source material and take unresolved questions to a qualified professional.
