About HENRY

Built to make complicated financial questions easier to examine.

HENRY combines UK-focused educational content with decision tools that expose their assumptions and limitations.

Founder and product editor

Mark Graham created HENRY from the questions that arise when a strong household income still has to be coordinated across tax, pensions, mortgages, investing and family priorities.

Mark’s background is in building and leading technology products. HENRY does not present him as a financial adviser, tax adviser or accountant.

How content is produced

  1. Start with a real decision. Articles and tools are designed around a question a UK higher earner may genuinely need to resolve.
  2. Use primary sources. Time-sensitive tax and pension rules are checked against GOV.UK, HMRC and other authoritative sources.
  3. Expose the model. Tools state their assumptions, supported circumstances and known exclusions.
  4. Test before publication. Calculation boundaries, links, mobile layouts and saved-scenario behaviour are checked before release.
  5. Show review status. AI may assist research, drafting and implementation. Independent professional review is never implied unless it has actually occurred.

What HENRY cannot do

HENRY provides general education and simplified illustrations. It cannot know a visitor’s complete circumstances, establish eligibility, confirm a tax return or make a regulated personal recommendation. Important decisions should be checked against current official guidance and, where appropriate, with a suitably qualified professional.

Corrections and commercial independence

Material errors should be corrected transparently. Commercial relationships will be labelled and cannot purchase a favourable conclusion or ranking. Personal calculator inputs are not sold.
